The Banksia story

I've always been drawn to the little details—the kind that turn ordinary moments into something memorable. The way flowers shift with the seasons, the feeling of welcoming people into a beautiful space, and the thoughtful touches that make a gathering feel special. Over time, those small obsessions became a creative language of their own.

Banksia Studio was born from the space where food, florals, and gathering meet. Not as separate elements, but as one considered experience. I wanted to create work that feels effortless yet intentional—cakes that belong in a moment, blooms that feel naturally at home in a space, and grazing designed to bring people together and encourage them to linger a little longer.

Based on the Central Coast, I'm surrounded by a landscape that quietly shapes everything I create. That influence shows up in the work—seasonal, textural, and a little wild around the edges, yet always considered. Nothing overly polished or mass-produced. Just thoughtful design made for real celebrations.
